It’s Quadrille Monday at the dVerse Poets Pub
He had a white coat with oval-shaped specklings of black and dark gray.
People thought we should name him “Freckles”, but I thought that was much too common a name for such a serendipitous creature.
Instead, we decided on Domenic Andreas — Spot for short.
A uniquely beautiful creature deserves a uniquely beautiful name!

Freckles also sounds like a good name.

That’s a wonderful perspective on freckle-ness Susan. This made for engaging reading. A freckled horse… 🙂

Thanks so much, Rob. I’ve always wanted a leopard Appaloosa, like this one…. Maybe someday. 🙂

The gentle irony makes me smile, the horse gets the time enfolding high falootin name instead of Freckles… but still gets called Spot. 😉

I enjoyed the irony too. Perhaps the name Serendipity would have worked well.
