Haiku is an irritating and often pretentious well-respected artform, which I don’t usually like, and yet I have to give you ten out of ten for both haikus I’ve read on your page.
You’ve got style.
I like the way you turn it upside down with your irony. All I generally manage to do with it is make some hackneyed observation about sunshine or winter.
Do you have a flash by reading something and thinking, this could be a good scene for a Pixar movie?

LOL! Unfortunately when the summertime breeze blows through my side parlour window the smell of the neighbours’ dog poop wafts in.

Agreed. Haiku is not as easy as it looks. I struggle with it, and am thrilled my frustration has paid off in your eyes. Many thanks!
