What do you value most in a friendship?
It seems the older I get, the more difficult it is to make friends. Which makes sense because as children, we are trusting and open. Getting burned a few times will take care of that. Anyway, I appreciate friend who doesn’t jump ship when things get rough.
Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cake or the cupcake first? Do you prefer a specific flavor?
Cupcakes are my favorite! First, I sample the frosting. Then, if it’s acceptable, I have a bit of frosting with each forkful of cupcake. When the frosting is gone, I’m done. My aunt used to make a fabulous butter cream frosting, which is my favorite. I also love strawberry cupcakes with matching frosting from Edgar’s Bakery. Sublime!
Have you ever been in a submarine? If you haven’t, would you want to?
No, I haven’t been in a submarine. Seems as though it would be a claustrophobic experience. I would consider a yellow submarine, however, if George Harrison were on board—and if he brought cupcakes. Too many impossible ifs, so I guess it’s no.
If 100 people your age were chosen at random, how many do you think you’d find leading a more satisfying life than yours?
I don’t know. It would depend on the day, I think. Some days I’m happy with my life, and other days, it’s the pits. Also, I think other people might lie for whatever reason, or maybe they’d be having a random bad day too. Hard to say…

It does seem making friends grows harder as one grows older, perhaps you are right and it is a trust issue. Enjoyed your answers, especially about the submarine.
