It had been ten years and still
there were no suspects.
The cops found the strand of pearls in the field behind Sam’s junkyard. Sheila’s mother left them to her. It was the best thing she had to give.
They weren’t real, but whoever got Sheila that night
must’ve thought they were.
What a heartbreaking story, to be attacked over something that only had sentimental value.
